The Annual CUUWA Council meeting was held online, Feb 22,2026.
Attendees included: Najat Abdou-McFarland (Communications Coordinator), Joan McFarland (Atlantic rep), Heather Walker (Prairies rep), Betty Donaldson (West coast rep), Margaret Linton (Elder), & Jo-Anne Elder (Elder).
Notes of the meeting will be forthcoming. Items of discussion included: requests for information about Congregational IWD activities; a proposed chat room lead by Jo-Anne and the addition of a poetry section on a dedicated CUUWA web page. The embers of our Council with respect to organizational activities/projects are still burning – members are invited to contact Najat McFarland or Betty Donaldson for opportunities to be involved – cuuwa.cuc@gmail.com .
